2016 proved to be an amazing year for heart racing, frightening, and breathtaking horror movies. From indie productions like “Beyond the Gates” and “The Witch” to big studio releases, such as “Ouija: Origin of Evil” and “Don’t Breathe”, there were plenty of high-quality scream-inducing frightening flicks that suit every horror bluff’s taste.
This gives us good reason to believe that 2017 is giving rise to some high expectations about the Buzziest horror movies in the market. We think that the horror film industry is up to the challenge though. With a lot of old franchises like “Friday the 13th” and “Saw” setting to hit the big screen, you have many new twists to expect as well.

A Cure for Wellness – February 17th
With a badass and heart throbbing trailer, A Cure for Wellness made quite the remarkable impression to horror flick lovers. It follows a story of a Young executive who is sent to retrieve his company’s SEO from a mysterious “Wellness Center”. However, things take an unexpected turn when the executive himself becomes a patient at the same center, which has some mysterious ailment that is spread among all other patients. However, is it real?
Get Out – February 24th
Starring Daniel Kaluuya, Get Out follows the story of a young black man who falls in love with a white girl. To seek approval of them dating, Daniel travels along with his girlfriend to her family’s estate. He soon begins to learn that many African-American people have a tendency of disappearing in the weird town. Things take an unexpected turn as the trailer moves word and you see a combination of dark satire, racial drama, and creepy faces. It definitely makes for a unique mix that will be worth the watch.
I.T. – September 8th
Directed by John Moore and starring Pierce Brosnan, I.T. is a mystery/crime film that is about a self-made man who has it all: a state-of-the-art smart home, a gorgeous wife, and a beautiful teenage daughter. He soon finds himself in a high-stakes and dangerous intermission with his I.T. consultant who plans to endanger Mike’s business, family, and life. In a world dominated by social media, where there is no privacy, Mike relies on his old connections to defeat a demented computer genius.
Rings – February 3rd
When “The Ring” first made its entry into the horror movies list, it generated quite the amazing following and reputation – being labeled as one of the most genuinely unsettling horror films. Although its sequel didn’t quite manage to generate the same hype, Rings is going to step up the notch and take the franchise to a completely new level. Bringing the evil Samara back out of her well and into your TV sets, you will be bound to hold onto something tight to stop yourself from panicking
